Office work flows are changing within Glahe & Associates due to the integration of Leica Geosystems new Cyclone II Topo LiDAR processing software. CAD specialists are now able to perform more LiDAR processing without the aid of a LiDAR specialist, effectively bolstering our LiDAR processing capabilities in house. This enables us to produce more timely deliverables on topographic projects collected via Terrestrial LiDAR at an increasingly competative price. With the advent of this new software CAD techs are now able to generate point and line files while recording the information in a virtual field book and export that information to CAD packages for final map generation. The new software is helping to expand the types of deliverables that we may produce from Terrestrial LiDAR data sets. To read the full article click the link below
